Yacht anchorage in Marigot Bay

Marigot Bay (Anse du Marigot) is on the south coast of Martinique, 9 miles north-west of the southern tip of the island.

Yachts are anchored in the middle of the bay at a depth of 2-6 meters on sand and silt. Holding is good. In south-easterly winds it is possible to ripple in the bay. In this case it is good to use an additional stern anchor.

Sargassum algae may be present at the entrance to the bay. See forecast for it here>>>.
