Tobago Reefs (Tobago Cays) are located 1.3 miles east of Mero Island. Tobago Reefs include several coral islands and coral reefs. They are all included in the Tobago Reefs Marine National Park.
There are many mooring buoys for yachts scattered among Tobago's reefs. It costs about 40 EC to moor a yacht on a buoy. For staying in the National Park you will pay 10 EC per person per day. You can also use own anchor.
When anchoring, be aware of the many turtles around. Don't hurt them with the anchor. The anchor on the sand holds very good. When the weather is windy, it may be a small waves in the area of the reefs. You should also be aware of tidal currents, which are quite strong here.
Tobago's reefs are a very popular area. There are a lot of yachts. There is a small restaurant on Rameau Island that cooks freshly caught lobsters. Great spot for snorkeling.
