Bequia Island

Bequia is the second largest island in the Grenadines, measuring 18 square kilometers. Bequia is located 4.5 miles south of Saint Vincent Island. The island's main town and port, Port Elizabeth, is located on the east side of the island at Admiralty Bay. Admiralty Bay is the largest on the island and most sheltered from the prevailing winds. There are main anchorages and the only yacht marina on the island. Frendship bay in the south of the island is also of interest to yachtsmen.

The island is connected by a regular ferry with Saint Vincent and the other islands. Bequia has James F. Mitchell International Airport.
