Yacht anchorage and mooring on buoys in Saline Bay

Saline Bay is located in the west of Mero Island.

Yachts can be anchored all around the bay at depths of 3-7 meters on the sandy bottom or pick up one of the mooring buoys. The bay shelters yachts from prevailing winds and waves. Some swell is possible.

At the north side of the bay there is a ferry pier, to which the ferry approaches twice a day.

To the north-east of the bay within a few minutes walk is the only village on the island. It has several bars, restaurants and stores, and a Catholic church.
