Malendure Bay is located on the west coast of Bass Terre Island, 15 miles north-north-west of the southern tip of the island, opposite the Pigeon Islands.
Yachts can be anchored all around the bay at a depth of 5-10 meters, as indicated on the Navionics charts. The bottom is mostly sand and some seaweed. Holding is good. You can also pick up one of some available mooring buoys. The bay shelters yachts well from the prevailing winds and waves. There may be ripples. Strong gusts of wind are possible.
Do not be anchored in the reserve, the boundaries of which are marked with yellow buoys with a cross.
On the shore at the mouth of the river there is a small fishport, where you can be moored your dinghy.
