Yacht moorings on buoys and anchors in Barque Bay

Barque Bay (Anse a la Barque) is located on the west shore of Bass Terre Island, 10 miles north-north-west of the southern tip of the island.

Yachts can pick up one of the mooring buoys scattered around the bay. You should choose large buoys. The smaller ones are for small fishing boats. You can also are anchored at a depth of 7-10 meters on the sand. Holding is good. The bay shelters the yachts well from the prevailing winds and waves.

There is a pier on the south-eastern shore of the bay where you can leave your dinghy.
