Sourfier Bay is located on the west coast of Saint Lucia Island, 17 miles south-west of the northern tip of the island.
Surfier Bay has a small pier to which yachts can moor and many mooring buoys scattered along the coast of the bay. The buoys closer to the center of Surfier city are most sheltered from the prevailing winds and waves.
There are many mooring buoys at Petit Piton Mountain, half a mile south-south-west of the mouth of the Surfier River.
It is worth a walk to the botanical garden, waterfall and hot springs. On Petite Piton Mountain is a great viewpoint. Reasonably priced provisions at the Massy supermarket, a 20-minute walk next to the botanical garden.
