Yacht anchorages in Vieux Fort Bay

Vieux Fort Bay is located in the south-west of Saint Lucia less than a mile from the southern tip of the island.

Yachts can be anchored off the east shore of View Fort Bay south of the commercial port terminal in depths of 4-8 meters. The bottom is sandy. Holding is good. The bay shelters yachts well from winds and waves of easterly direction.

On the coast around the port is an industrial zone. It is easy to buy fish and seafood from locals passing by on boats. The village has several bars and restaurants, there is a supermarket.
