Caleta de Fuste (also known as El Castillo) gets its name from the eighteenth-century watchtower. Today, Caleto de Fuste is a lively resort that attracts tourists primarily with its golden sand beaches. By the way, this golden sand was specially transported here. The city's calling card is the watchtower, located next to the yacht marina.
Keeping the yacht in the marina of El Castillo, the crew can walk around the city, the basis of which is one central street. There are many restaurants, bars, boutiques. Not to say that the city has a very active nightlife, but several pubs are open until morning.
The resort of Caleta de Fuste has an annual carnival in February when all residents and tourists of the town participate in a costume parade, accompanied by folk music and dancing. In September each year, the patron saint of the province of Antigua is celebrated.
Just over a kilometer south of the marina is a golf course.
In the marina there is a yellow tourist submarine, on which you can make an excursion into the depths of the ocean.
