Yacht anchorage at Cape Gaviota

Cape Gaviota (Punta Gaviota) is located in the south-east of La Gomera Island, 5 miles south-west of the island's capital, San Sebastian.

The yachts are anchored to west of Cape Gaviota opposite Playa de Chinguarime on the sandy bottom at a depth of 6-10 meters. Holding is good. The anchorage at Cape Gaviota is well sheltered from the prevailing northerly winds.
