Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands after Tenerife, with Puerto del Rosario as the main city. Administratively, it is part of the province of Las Palmas. The name is derived from the Spanish words "fuerte" - strong, reliable, and "ventura" - good luck, good fortune.
