Today Morro Jable, one of the most popular resorts in Fuerteventura, was not so long ago a small fishing village. The situation changed in the seventies of last century, when the road connecting Morro Jable to the airport was built. Today there are many small hotels and apartments, bars, restaurants and stores along the road that runs along the ocean. Unlike other resorts on the south coast, where life goes silent at dusk, the night bars and discos in Morro Jable continue to operate.
The main and only one attraction of Morro Jable is the magnificent endless sandy beaches. Of course, for those who come from the sea by yacht, the beaches are not the most interesting place, but the beaches are very beautiful, especially at sunset. There are standard water activities on the beaches: diving, windsurfing, beach catamarans.
Perhaps some yachtsmen would like to walk to Playa del Matorral Park, a mile to the east.
