Tarajalejo Beach (Playa de Tarajalejo) is located on the south-east coast of Fuerteventura, 22 miles from the western tip of the island.
Yachts are anchored at a depth of 3-6 meters. The bottom is sandy. Holding is good. The eastern side of the bay is the shallowest and local boats are moored on buoys there. The bay is located in the wind acceleration zone, so the wind and wave conditions can change very quickly. It is recommended to anchorage here only in stable calm weather.
There is a beach and a village with a good supermarket on the shore.
