The small island of Lobos is located a little less than three miles east of the northern tip of Fuerteventura. The anchorage is on the south of Lobos Island at Paso de la Orchilla.
Yachts are anchored to the south of the bay at depths of 3-12 meters. The bottom is sand and stone slabs of sandy color. Holding is good on the sand. There are a few mooring buoys of unknown quality. Some protection from the prevailing northerly winds.
It is crowded during the day because of the tourists who arrive from Fuerteventura.
Great snorkeling, but be wary of the currents. Beautiful views and hiking around the island. The island is a Nature Park. There is a restaurant.
