The bay in the northwest of Similan Island is the most protected shelter for overnight yacht anchorage in the entire group of islands.

Inside the bay at a depth of 8-10 meters on the sand and between the corals there are mooring buoys for common use. If all buoys are occupied it is possible to anchored the yacht on depths of 15-30 meters.

The bay has a magnificent beach with white coral sand and a forest on the shore through which you can take interesting walks. Climbing up one of the rocks of Donald Duck, which form the northern edge of the bay, you can see the whole panorama of the bay. From the boat or beach it's easy to reach the ridge of rocks on the northwest side of the bay, swimming around which you'll get great snorkeling.

There's a National Park ranger base a few bungalows and a small restaurant on the shore. Diving boats moored on buoys, in the afternoon begin to fill balloons and if you do not want to hear the noise of compressors you need to go to the anchorage at the edge of the bay at a depth of 15-30 meters.

Diving boats come to the bay in the morning and return to Phuket closer to the evening. This gives an opportunity for boat crews to send a person to Phuket in case of an urgent need.
