Port Launay Bay is located on the south-west coast of Mahe a mile and a half south-east of the western tip of the island.

The most sheltered anchorage for yachts is in the eastern corner of the bay. A good place for day or night mooring of yachts. The skipper of the yacht should pay attention to the dangers marked with navigational markers when approaching to the anchorage.
