Yacht anchorages in Takamaka Bay

Takamaka Bay (Anse Takamaka) is located on the south-west coast of Mahe.

Anchor is at a depth of 5-10 meters. The bottom is sandy. Holding is good.

Takamaka Bay is more suitable for anchoring yachts in the summer months when the south-east monsoon blows. In winter you can anchorage here only in calm.

There is a hotel and a sandy beach with turtles on the shore.
