Yacht anchorages at Ko Nakha Noi

Anchorage at Ko Nakha Noy is in 11 miles southeast of Yacht Haven Marina in northern Phuket.

Even if you picked up a chartered yacht just before sunset you should get away from the hot and stuffy marina. One place to spend the night in such situation is the anchorage off Nakha Noi Island.

Depending on the wind direction yachts anchor either off the east or west coast of the island. Anchor at a depth of 5-8 meters on the sandy bottom. Holding is good. There is a fairly strong tidal current near the island. This should be kept in mind when swimming from the yacht. There are a couple of restaurants on the east coast of the island.
