Yacht anchorages off Kythros Island

Kythros island is located at the southern tip of Meganisi. Kythros is separated from Meganisi by a strait only quarter of a mile wide.

Two bays where you can anchor in shallow water are located on the south coast of Kнtros Island. The bottom is mostly seaweed, so holding is not good.

The anchorages are attractive because there are no wasps on them, as there is no vegetation or wildlife on the island. It is used during the day for swimming and waiting of the wind.
