Papanikoli Cave is located on the south-west coast of Meganisi at 2.7 miles from the south-eastern tip of the island.

Yachts can be anchored at a depth of 10-20 meters near the cave or in one of the neighboring bays. The bottom is seaweed, stones, rocky outcrops. Holding is bad. Anchoring is possible only in calm weather. Night anchorage is not recommended even in stable calm weather.
The cave is popular and many yachts and tourist boats come here during the day.
