Nafpaktos is located on the north shore of Korinthiakos Gulf, 60 miles north-west of the entrance of the Corinth Canal.
Nafpaktos is a tiny Venetian port. It is usually crowded. Mooring yachts stern or bow at their anchor to small protruding concrete piers, which are 2.5-3 meters deep.
There is an outer pier, not marked on the Navionics charts, but clearly visible in the photo below. Mooring on the outer pier is possible only in stable calm weather.
In calm weather you can be anchored to the east of the port. Depths are 5-8 meters. The bottom is sand and mud.
You can visit a small town and a castle. Supermarket is a 10-minute walk from the port.
