Yacht moorings in Kryoneri

Kryoneri is located on the north shore of Patraikos Bay, 8 miles to the east of Mesolongion.

Yachts are usually moored to the waterfront north of the pier of stern at their anchor or alongside. Depths at the waterfront are 3-3.5 meters. When you moor with the stern give out more chain, as the anchor holds mediocrely.

It is possible for strong runoff and southeasterly winds blowing from the Patras Canal and accelerating to storms around Mount Varasova. Therefore, despite the attractiveness of the place, overnight mooring here can be recommended only in stable calm weather.

A very beautiful and quiet place under the large rocky massif of Varasova. The mountain attracts climbers and paragliders. Near the pier is a pebble beach. There are a couple of taverns on the waterfront. It is about three kilometers to the store.
