Volikos Bay (Ormos Volikos) is in the north of Korinthiakos Gulf, 30 miles north-west of the Corinth Canal.
Volikos Bay consists of two bays - east and west. The west bay has better shielding from the west winds, the east bay - from the east winds. In general, the bay shelters yachts well from all winds, except southerly. The yachts are anchored at 5-10 meters depth on the muddy bottom. Holding isgood. There is a fish farm in the bay, but it does not interfere entering to the bay and anchoring. In the eastern bay it is possible to take lines ashore.
Despite the muddy bottom, the water is clear. In the west bay there is a pebble beach and a fish processing plant.
