Sarandi Bay (Ormos Sarandi) is located in the north-east of Korinthiakos Gulf, 17 miles north of the Corinth Canal.
Sarandi Bay is deep and anchoring of yachts is possible only along the shores of the bay. The bottom is mostly sand, on which the anchor holds well. Near the fishport the bottom is stony. The bay is open to the south and in winds from south-west to south-east it is not suitable for anchorage. On the north-west corner of the bay there is a tiny fishport, but it is not suitable for yachts, as it has a depth less than a meter. It is also crowded with local boats.
There is a resort village and a beach of fine pebbles on the nort shore. The village has several taverns and bars and a mini-market. On the eastern shore of the bay there are hiking trails that you can be used to climb to viewpoints.
