Yacht anchorage in Kastro Bay

Agios Kastro is located on the north-east coast of the island, 1.6 miles from the eastern tip.

Yachts are anchored all around the bay at a depth of 5-10 meters. The bottom is sand and pebbles. Holding is good. It is recommended to take lines ashore. The bay shelters yachts only from the west winds.

There is a typical small Greek village on the shore. There is a tavern.
