Kastos Bay is located on the east coast of Kastos island immediately to north of the port of Kastos. The bay is unnamed on the maps. We call it by the name of the beach in it, although it is unnamed on the maps, but in reports it is called Kastos beach.
Yachts are anchored all around the bay at a depth of 5-10 meters. The bottom is sand and seaweed. The bay shelters yachts well from the prevailing north-westerly winds, but it is open to southerly and easterly winds. During the day, gusts of wind blow in the bay from the west, and in the evening, a runoff wind may blow from the mainland. Anchorage here is a good alternative to Kastos Fishport. The village of Kastos, where there are tavernas and stores, can be reached by dinghy.
