Yachts anchorage in Vlichadia Bay

Vlichadia Bay is located in the south of Kalymnos 1.5 miles south-west of Potia (Kalymnos port).

Vlycadia Bay provides good shelter for yachts from Meltemi. The anchor is at 4-5m depth in the middle of the bay. The bottom is muddy and the anchor does not always hold well.

Six or seven mooring buoys are installed between the two taverns. The buoys are close to each other, and before you leave your boat, you should make sure that your boat will not touch the others.

There are three small and attractive taverns and an interesting "Sea World Museum", managed by the colorful Vasladidis brothers. The people here are very friendly.
