Yacht moorings in Vathys Fishport

Vathys is a small village located in the south-east of Kalymnos in a narrow bay 2.5 miles north-east of Kalymnos port (6 miles by sea).

There are several places for yachts mooring stern/bow to the north-east side of the short breakwater (the west side is too shallow). Tourist boats are usually moored to the end of the breakwater. Bottom is sand and seaweed. Holding is quite acceptable.

The shelter from Meltemi is good, but strong gusts of wind from the steep hills can be very strong.

The place is very attractive. There are several taverns on the shore.
