Emborios Bay is located on the north-west side of Kalymnos. The bay is sheltered from the south by the small island of Kalavros.
Emborios Bay provides to yachts good protection from Meltemi. The yacht can be moored to one of the dozens of buoys belonging to the restaurants. Obviously, the use of the buoy, implies that you have visit the tavern. The taverns offer good fish.
The village of Emborios is pleasant, but the water in the bay is muddy because here are several fisheries.
Alternatively, yachts can be anchored in a small cove south-east of the village where there is space for 3-4 yachts. Anchor at a depth of 6-7 meters opposite the beach. Holding is good on the sandy bottom.
