Korissia is located on the north-west of Kea in the Livadhi bay (Ormos Livadhi), which, in turn, is located in the south of the large bay of St. Nicholas.
Yachts are moored at the west waterfront, where there is space for about 20 yachts. The depth at the quay is about 3 meters. The yachts are moored stern to the quay at their own anchor.
When the weather is right, yachts can be anchored on the east side of the bay away from the maneuvering ferries.
The ferries from Athens and Lavrio come to Korissia. Korissia is a lively place with several restaurants and stores. There is an excellent bakery. Many private and charter (rented) sailing and motor yachts stop here. Lots of restaurants, several bars, art gallery, supermarket (expensive), water and electricity at the waterfront (although sometimes there are problems to plug in).
