Kalotaritissa Bay (Ormos Kalotaritissa) is located on the north-west coast of Amorgos near the western tip of the island.
The yachts are anchored in the middle of the bay at depths of 3-6 meters on the sandy bottom. Holding is good. Excellent shelter from winds of all directions, except north-easterly. Most of the bay is filled with local fishing boats. On the northern shore of the bay there is a concrete pier, to which two yachts with low draft can be moored (the exact depths at the pier are unknown). Fishermen will not welcome your yachts at the pier.
The west shore of the bay is a sandy beach. In high season there is a bar. There is a public restroom. There is a shipwrecked, famous for the Luc Besson movie "The Big Blue", 0.6 miles south-east.
