Krka National Park is located in the upper river Krka near the town of Skradin, 20 km from Sibenik. It was formed in 1985. From Skradin, where you came by yacht, you can go to the Krka National Park by tourist boat.
Tourist boat departs every hour.
The boat takes about half an hour to get to Park up the Krka River. The way along the river is very picturesque.
In the Krka National Park there are seven large waterfalls with a total drop of 242 meters. The biggest one is the bottom one - Skradinski Buk.

Brljan - 15 meters
Manojlovac - a drop of 60 meters, including the main waterfall - 32 meters
Rosnjak - 8 meters

Skradinski Buk - 46 meters.
Franciscan Monastery of Visovac is located on the island of Visovac in the middle of Krka river.
It was founded by the Augustinians in the 14th century. In 1445 the monastery was transferred to the Franciscans and was expanded and rebuilt by them.
Serbian Orthodox Monastery of Krka was founded in the XIV century.
In the history it has been destroyed several times, in the XVII century it was destroyed almost to the ground by the Turks. The last time it was damaged was in 1995 during the war in Yugoslavia. In 2001, the monastery was restored.
Ethnographic Museum is located near the waterfall Skradinski Buk. Among other things, it exhibits water mills and a kind of "washing machine" powered by the energy of the waterfall.
There are hiking trails that allow you to comfortably walk around almost the entire park and see not only waterfalls and museums, but also many rivers and streams flowing through the park.
