Port Las Nieves (Puerto de las Nieves) is located in the north of the west coast of Gran Canaria.
There are three pontoons for yachts in the inner harbor, but most berths are occupied by local boats. There are very little berths for transit yachts. Space for maneuvering yachts is limited. Depths at the pontoons are up to 2-2.5 meters at low tide.
Services for yachts are limited. Some piers have water and electricity. There are toilets at the ferry terminal (closes at 8:00 p.m.). There is no Wi-Fi in the harbor.
The harbor captain and staff speak little English.
Anchorage is 4-6 meters deep north-east of the breakwater, outside the ferry terminal area. However, reportedly that the anchor does not hold up well in the sand and rocks. The bottom is littered. From 2022, the anchorage is prohibited. A line of yellow buoys has been installed so that the anchorage cannot be reached.
Fuel is available only to locals.
