Yacht anchorage in Formas Bay

Formas Bay (Bahia De Formas) is located on the east coast of Gran Canaria, 17.5 miles to the south of Las Palmas.

The yachts anchor at a depth of 5-10 meters on the sand. Holding is good. Good shelter for yachts in northerly winds. The bay is in zone of stronger winds and the forecast is always underestimated. Formas Bay is popular among wind and kite surfers.
