Krabi

Krabi province's coastline stretches from the northernmost part of Pang Nga Bay in the north to Lanta Island in the south. The provincial capital is Krabi City. Here is one of few Thailand's yacht marinas in the Andaman Sea - Krabi River Marina.

There are many anchorages along the coast of Krabi but most of them can be used only during the northeast monsoon season from November to April.

For yachts travel along the coast of Krabi you can rent yachts on Phuket Island. Along the coast of Krabi runs part of the route of one of Thailand's traditional yacht regattas - the Pang Nga Bay Regatta which runs in late January and early February.

Fifteen kilometers from the town is Krabi International Airport, which has international status, but is really it's local.
