Yacht mooring in the Polycastro marina

Policastro Marina is located on the Cilento coast 1.8 miles north-east of Scario.

Policastro is a fishport with several pontoons for mooring yachts and boats. The set of facilities is minimum. Polycastro Marina is rather shallow - depths up to 2.2 meters at low tide. However, this depth allows most yachts to enter the marina. The marina is well sheltered from all winds and waves, except the west and south-west. In the low season there is a lot of available berths.

The town is very pleasant with a history going back centuries. Some sights have been preserved. In walking distance there is everything you need - cafes, restaurants, laundry, supermarkets, hardware stores and much more. There is a train station nearby, providing connections to all Italy.
