Yacht anchorage in Morti Bay

Bay of the Dead (Cala dei Morti) is located on the Cilento coast 50 miles south-east of Salerno.

The bay does not look quite right on the Navionics map. Below is a diagram with the highlighted area where yachts can be anchored. The bay is located in Zone B of the Reserve, so anchor in a strictly designated place, otherwise you may get a fine.

A beautiful bay surrounded by dolomite cliffs with crystal clear water. A cross was set on the rock in memory of an ancient shipwreck, hence the name of the cove.
