Yacht moorings in Vathi Bay

Vathi Bay is located on the west coast of the eastern half of Astypalaia Island.

Yachts can be anchored all around the bay at depths of 3-8 meters. Bottom is sand, silt, seaweed. Holding is good. Excellent shelter from winds and waves of all directions. During Meltemi there are strong gusts of wind.

There is a small concrete pier and restaurant on the north-west end of the bay. Yachts are moored to the pier with their stern at own anchor or alongside.
