Yacht anchorage in Panormos Bay

Panormos Bay is located in the north of the western part of Astypalaia Island.

Yachts can be anchored all around the bay at depths of 5-15 meters. The bottom is sand, seaweed, rocky slabs. On the sand the anchor holds well. Good shelter from the south winds, but because of the topography there are strong gusts of wind.

Some shelter from Meltemi you can be found on the north-west side of the bay, but also with strong gusts of wind.
