Yacht marina Vlikadha

Vlichada Marina is located in the south of the island of Santorini, west of Cape Exomytis.

The approach to the marina is very difficult through a narrow, shallow fairway, which changes from year to year due to drifts of sand and mud as a result of winter storms. Every year the fairway is deepened, but it is rarely more than two meters deep. Therefore, it is best to follow one of the local yachts when approaching the marina and be sure to have a sailor on the bow of the yacht to visually check the depth. The marina is crowded with local commercial catamarans that cruise tourists around the caldera. There is little berth for transit yachts and during the high season it is difficult to get a berth here. There are several mooring buoys at the entrance to the marina.

Marina Vlichada is located about 20 minutes from the town of Fira by car. The marina office or the restaurants on the cliffs above the marina can arrange car rentals or call a taxi for you. Both restaurants are very friendly to yachtsmen and prepare good food.

Marina's office is open from 09:00 to 19:00 daily.
