Yacht anchorage in Akrotiriou

Akrotiriou is located in the south of Santorini, 2.3 miles east-south-east of Cape Akrotiri.

The yachts are anchored as shown on the Navionics chart at depths of 3-6 meters on the sandy bottom. Holding is good. Big area for anchoring. There are several mooring buoys of unknown quality and affiliation. Good protection from Meltemi.

There are restaurants and mini-market on the shore. There are several piers at which you can leave the dinghy.

The air-conditioned bus to Thira costs 1.80 euros per person. The bus departures every 30 minutes. There are 500 meters along the road to the excavations of the ancient settlement of Akrotiri.
