Zapuntel Bay is located in the north of Molat Island and opens to the Zapuntel Strait that separates Molat and Ist Islands.
The pier of Zapuntel village is located in the head of the bay on its eastern shore. The harbor is protected by a breakwater. The depths in the harbor are about 3.0 to 4.0 meters. Mooring of yachts is possible on the inner side of the breakwater. The outer side is used by the ferries. 2-3 yachts can be moored alongside.
Alternatively, you can pick up one of the mooring buoys set in the bay at depths of 7.0 - 8.0 meters.
Finally, you can go to the anchorage away from the mooring buoys at 6.0 - 8.0 meters depth.
The shelter in the bay is excellent in all conditions, although a strong north-easterly wind brings a nasty wave to the bay.
There is a small store on the waterfront with a limited selection of groceries.
