Subicevak fortress is located in the north of the Old Town, a few hundred meters north-west of St. John's Fortress. Subicevak is built 80 meters above sea level on a mountain called Vidakusa. Subicevak fortress was built in 1646. The fortress walls are well preserved, as well as several buildings on the area of the fortress. Currently, the fortress actively receives visitors, who have the opportunity to walk around the ancient military structure, look at the sea through the cannon holes and admire the view from the fortress walls.
