Biograd (full name is Biograd na Moru) is a city in central Croatia on the coast of the Adriatic Sea's Pasman Strait, which separates the mainland from the island of Pasman. The city is located on a peninsula between two small bays, Soline on the south and Bosane on the north. Directly opposite to the city in Pasman Strait are two small islands - Planac and Sveta Katarina.
Through Biograd passes Adriatic Highway, which connects Biograd with other Dalmatian cities. The distance to Zadar is 26 km, to Sibenik 28 km, to Vodice 18 km. The town is connected by a regular bus service to all major cities in Croatia, moreover, there are ferries to the island of Pasman.
There is a yacht marina in Biograd, where you can rent yachts for trips along the coast of central Croatia and islands Pasman, Ugljan, archipelago Kornati, Dugi Otok and a number of others.
