The city of Rabac is located on the eastern coast of Istria, 22 miles north-north-east of the southern tip of the peninsula and 13 miles north-west of the town of Cres on the island of the same name.

The best spot for anchorage is near the town of Rabac is located to the north of the small piers in a small cove, where the depth is about 8,0-12,0 m. Holding is good on the clay seabed.
During calm times, it is also possible to anchor the stern of the yacht to the waterfront in Rabac. The berths for transit yachts are to the north of the square pier with the green light, designed for tourist boats. The depths here are 2.0 - 5.0 meters. The pier has electricity and water.
There are mooring buoys scattered around the bay, some of which are submerged. Their condition is mediocre.
