Pula is located on the west coast of Istria peninsulas, eight miles northwest of its southern tip. Pula is the largest city in Istria. Pula is connected by regular intercity bus service to large Croatian cities, as well as to Italy and Slovenia. There is a road along the coast from Pula to Rovinj, Porec and Umag, as well as to Rijeka and the other cities of Croatia. There is international airport right next to the city.
Pula can rightly be considered the yachting center of northern Croatia. There are a number of large and comfortable yachting marinas, such as ACI Marina Pula, Marina Veruda, ACI Marina Pomer, ACI Marina Rovini, ACI Marina Umag, where you can rent a sailing or motor yacht with or without crew.
