Incoming yachts can be moored on the short city promenade, where there are water and electricity, but there are almost never any berths available. An alternative is one of the 25-30 mooring buoys set up along the beach on the north side of the bay. Shelter in the bay is good in all winds except westerly. Although a nasty wave can come into the bay in south-westerly winds.

There are three other choices for mooring yachts in the bay.

First. If you come to the bay near the evening, you can try to moored at the concrete pier at the eastern end of the beach. The depth at the pier is more than 2 meters. This pier is usually occupied by the local fishermen's boats.

Second. You can be anchored or moored at one of the available private mooring buoys at the beginning of the narrow bay in the north-eastern corner. The depth at the entrance to the bay is 8-9 meters, decreasing as you move north. This is the most sheltered place for anchorage in Primosten Bay. It is not surprising that the locals boats are anchored here.

Third. In the case of strong south-easterly winds you can go to the most easterly corner of the bay and anchored here at a depth of 6-10 meters. The bottom is sandy.
