Vodenjak Bay is located on the north-east coast of Iz Island, less than a mile and a half from its south-eastern tip.
Vodenjak Bay is V-shaped and oriented from north-west to south-east. At the entrance to the bay is a small island Skoljic, which is connected to Iz island by a shallow braid. Vodenjak Bay provides yachts shelter from all winds, except north-easterly and south-easterly.
There are mooring buoys in the bay. If all buoys are occupied, yachts can be anchored at a depth of 3-5 meters and take mooring lines ashore. The seabed is sand and seaweed. Holding is good.
If the weather permits, yachts can pick up one of the mooring buoys south of the braid that connects Iz island with Skoljic.
Don't try to sail between Iz island and Skoljic, it's too shallow!
