Yacht Marina Veli Iz

Yacht Marina and harbor of Veli Iz is located in the village of the same name on the north-east coast of Iz Island.

Veli Iz yacht marina offers about 50 berths for yachts on the water on the south-east waterfront of the harbor. The marina also has about 40 berths on the shore. The maximum allowable length of the yacht is 20 meters. Depths at the waterfront are 2.5 to 3 meters. There is also a concrete pier in the western part of the waterfront. Depths at the pier are 3.5 meters at the waterfront and 5.0 meters at the outer end. The marina is open all year round.

There is a travel lifr with a capacity of 24 tons and a slip through which yachts up to 40 tons can be pulled ashore.

An alternative to yacht mooring in the marina it can be moorings on the western waterfront. Depths here are 1.5-2 meters. Yachts are moored with their stern or bow to the waterfront with their own anchor. Seabed is sand and silt. Holding is good.
