Povljana village is located on the north side of Nova Povljana bay on the south-west coast of Pag Island, two miles north-east of Vir Island.

Yacht anchorage opposite the village at depths of 5.0 - 8.0 meters. Holding is good in sand and silt. Alternatively, you can moor your yacht in the fishport of the village, if there berth are available. The depth here is about 3.0 - 4.0 meters.

The shelter for yachts in the bay is good in all winds except westerly.

When approaching, beware of shallow water at the capes on both sides of the bay.
There is a resort village with bars, restaurants, stores on the shore.
